Just over a year ago I was just a beginner paddling out into the sunset in King Harbor in Redondo Beach. How beautiful to be surrounded by the stillness of a golden evening - except for the barking sea lions and the sound of surf on the seawall. It would be awhile before I ventured out into THE OCEAN. Unknown to me I was about to start a beautiful adventure right here in my own "backyard". Being on a SUP brings you so close to nature. Seeing the details, the sounds and colors which are so vibrant, fresh and new has added a wonderful dimension to my life.

Magic on the Water: Why I love SUP

 SUP is my passion! I am on the water most days. This is my 3rd board and favorite - a BARK custom high performance board that I had "repainted" in bright tropical colors. LiliKai colors! I learned to paddle in  King Harbor, Redondo Beach CA. It is beautiful, ever changing, and has lots of sea life. MAGIC everywhere with pelicans, egrets and herons flying overhead and floating in the water. And under the water many different types of starfish, bat rays, the bright orange Garibaldi(California state fish) sea bass, octopus and the comical sea lions and seals.
